I am one of a few wooden flute makers in Great Britain and perhaps the only one making and selling one key Baroque Flutes. Having made a variety of types of wooden flute including Rottenburgh and Stanesby copies I now focus on a Palanca copy and my own A=440 baroque flute.
I also make a variety of flute and headjoint cases.
Following careers in teaching and IT I started making flutes at Cambridge Woodwind Makers in a workshop run by Robert Bigio. I am indebted to Robert for his continued support and assistance. Also many thanks to Andrew Crawford who introduced me to the skills and methods for making boxes.
